Returning this year
Erik Estrada’s career has spanned so far over fifty years. Known for his work in front of the camera, Erik is probably best known for his dynamic and unforgettable role as “Ponch’” on the hit TV series, “CHiPs”. His film and television credits include, The New Centurions with George C. Scott, The Cross and the Switchblade with Pat Boone, Midway with Charleton Heston and his ground breaking telenovela, “Dos Mujeres, Un Camino” which became the longest running telenovela in Spanish television. He continues to be seen on numerous tv sitcoms such as Liv and Maddie, Big Time Rush and most recently, Hallmark Channels Picture Perfect Mysteries. Off-screen though, due in part to one of his childhood dreams, Erik has led a life of commitment to law enforcement everywhere. His desire to help educate youth on the importance of the dangers of drugs and gangs have made him a spokesperson for D.A.R.E., as well as a Federal Investigative Officer for the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (I.C.A.C.) for eight years. Erik has been recognized by the Department of Justice and the U.S. Marshall Service for his dedication and service to protecting children from sexual predators on the internet, and because of his longstanding relationship with the California Highway Patrol, Erik lends his time and support whenever possible to their causes. Erik is now continuing his efforts with the Pocatello P.D. and his new foundation, Crimes Against Children in which to further educate and protect the future of our children. Erik and his wife, Nanette live a quiet life in Los Angeles with their daughter, Francesca.
